Welcome to Raiders Your draw Season 2010 is drawing to a close! Have you organised tables for the Dinner Dance yet? Your rugby At Raiders, it is your rugby whether you are playing, coaching, managing, cheering from the sidelines, helping in the canteen, cooking the BBQ, setting up the ground... it's your rugby!
Your club Raiders is your club - Raiders Rugby is a volunteer-run organisation. As such, your help is what keeps the club going. We have roles for everyone to help including playing, coaching, managing, committee roles, fundraising, helping in the canteen, cooking the BBQ, setting up the ground... it's your club!
Recent History and Achievements In 2005, the Raiders with the help of Manly Council, our sponsors and hard working committee, launched our new home ground and club house facility at Bantry Bay Oval. In late 2007, further improvements have occurred with new lights installed. Also in 2007 the club supported the creation of a Men's team to play in the NSW Suburban (Subbies) competition. This now gives our older boys a pathway of progression to senior rugby. In 2010 the Club is working towards further improvements to our facilities and operations with a new sub-committee forming with the aim of building a new clubhouse for Raiders at our home ground, Bantry Bay Reserve.
The Raiders are thankful of our continued relationship with our sponsors, Manly Council and the local community that help make the club a success and deliver an environment for the boys of all ages to enjoy their rugby and develop team work in this athletic sport of Rugby. The Raiders home ground and training venue is Bantry Bay Oval, Reserve St (off Judith St) Seaforth. For more information please contact Gary Paton (President) 0412 550 926 Back to top
